I was privileged recently to test a (germcontrol) disinfectant machine at our dermatologic office in Lexington, Kentucky.  Mr. William K., your consultant, was kind enough to allow me and my staff to use this remarkable unit for two weeks, and frankly, we liked it so much that he almost had to fight us for re-possession of it!  He solicited and encouraged our negative feedback, but we have practically none.

I was worried about using such a machine, because, as a dermatologist dealing daily with all types of hand eczema and rashes of the upper extremity, I though such gel/foam, waterless formulations would dry the hand excessively.  I am happy to report that not only did the unit not aggravate rashes, but it actually seemed to leave our hands softer after using it!

The emollient "feel" of the solution was impressing!  We really enjoyed the usage of the machine and the apparent increased cleanliness of the "no hands," touchless dispensing.  That was especially appreciated by our female staff members, and one of them remarked that one could virtually pay for the unit by the savings of paper towels needed to dry that hands with conventional washing.  In addition, (the) bactericidal agent, isopropyl alcohol, has a broader spectrum, and does not promote resistance to antibiotics, a growing problem with organisms today, i.e. staph.

Again, I would like to thank you and your exceptionally fine consultant, Bill K., for his thorough explanation of the unit and the disinfection process.

We loved your unit...  Thank you very much!

Sincerely,

Joseph B., M.D.
